Course Overview

Step Into Skin is a 2-day intensive training designed for beginners and beauty professionals who want to confidently enter the skincare industry and offer professional facial treatments, including dermaplaning.

This course builds strong foundational knowledge of skin anatomy, skin conditions and treatment safety, while giving you hands-on experience performing professional facials and dermaplaning treatments.

Training is delivered in a small group environment (maximum 3 students) to ensure personalised guidance and high standards throughout.

What You Will Learn

Day 1 – Skin Foundations

• Skin anatomy and physiology
• Skin types and common conditions
• Client consultation and skin analysis
• Contraindications and treatment safety
• Treatment planning
• Professional facial protocol

Day 2 – Dermaplaning & Practical Training

• Dermaplaning theory and safety
• Blade handling and angle control
• Treatment step-by-step procedure
• Contraindications specific to dermaplaning
• Aftercare advice
• Client record keeping
• Pricing and package building

Practical Training

Students will complete supervised hands-on training on live models provided by the academy.

You are not required to bring your own model.

All practical sessions are closely guided to ensure correct technique, safe blade control and professional standards.
